This policy describes how L2 Investing LLC handles data in connection with its operational SMS alert program. L2 Investing LLC operates an internal trading-automation system that sends automated fault alerts by text message.
We collect only the mobile telephone number of the system operator, entered by that person directly into the application's own configuration. We collect no data from any other individual. We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, location data, or any other personal information for the purpose of this SMS program.
The mobile number is used for one purpose only: delivering automated operational alerts about faults in the trading-automation software, such as a position that cannot be closed, a discrepancy between recorded and broker-held positions, or a failure of the monitoring process itself.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile numbers or any SMS-related data with third parties. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The number is disclosed only to our telecommunications provider (Twilio) strictly for the technical purpose of delivering the message.
This program sends no marketing, promotional, or advertising content of any kind. It transmits operational alerts only.
Message frequency varies and depends on whether the automated system detects a fault. Typical volume is fewer than five messages per day, and many days carry none. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for assistance. Every message includes opt-out instructions.
The mobile number is retained only while the alerting system is in use and is removed when the configuration is deleted. Message delivery logs are retained by our provider under their standard retention policy.
