OptionsOwl Operational Alerts

An internal alerting program operated by L2 Investing LLC. It sends automated fault alerts from the company's trading-automation software to the person who runs it.

What the program sends

Operational alerts only. No marketing, promotional, or advertising content of any kind, and nothing is ever sent to a customer, subscriber, or member of the public.

Representative messages:

OptionsOwl: close failed for SPY 07/18 480C after 3 attempts. Position still open. Reply STOP to opt out.

OptionsOwl: broker position count (7) does not match recorded (8). Review required. Reply STOP to opt out.

OptionsOwl: monitor heartbeat missed for 15 minutes. Automation may be down. Reply STOP to opt out.

Who receives messages

One recipient: the business owner who operates the software. There are no consumer recipients, no subscriber list, and no way for a third party to be added. The number that receives alerts is the operator's own mobile number.

How consent is captured

Consent is collected inside the application, not on this website, because the only person who can be messaged is the person configuring the software.

  1. The operator signs in to the OptionsOwl configuration screen, which is private to the company and not publicly reachable.
  2. The operator opens Settings, Alerts and enters their own mobile number in the SMS alerts field. The field is empty by default, so no messages are sent unless a number is deliberately entered.
  3. Directly beneath the field, the operator ticks a consent checkbox that reads:

I agree to receive automated operational alerts by SMS from OptionsOwl at the number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See the SMS Terms and SMS Privacy Policy.

  1. The operator saves the settings. Nothing is sent until the number is saved with the box ticked, and clearing the field stops all messages.

Consent is never bought, imported, or inherited from another list, and the number is never obtained from a third party.

Message frequency

Driven by system events rather than a schedule. Typical volume is fewer than five messages per day, and many days carry none.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for assistance, or email kody@l2investing.com. Every message carries opt-out instructions.

Policies
